Philip is also Senior Engagement Consultant at social value agency Spectra Connect, where he delivers on a national inclusion programme, the Care Leaver Covenant. Prior to this, he was co-founder and Director at Building Pathways Ltd, and has developed and managed services and programmes for not-for-profit organisations, including the UK’s largest children’s charity, Barnardos.
Philip’s experience spans 16 years, having started as frontline project worker he has become a skilled strategic and operational manager, with expertise in project planning, development and engagement. As a youth and community practitioner he has worked with diverse groups within youth work, vocational and community training environments. He has supported organisations as a consultant and adviser focusing on youth development, participation, employability, enterprise and community outreach.
Philip is JNC qualified in youth and community work. He holds an MA and PG Cert in Youth and Community Work from Uxbridge University, and BA Hons degree in Business Enterprise from London Met. He lives in South London with his wife and three young children.
