Genevieve Frances Binefa

Genevieve is a Strategy, Performance and Finance professional, with in-depth experience of developing and implementing strategic plans; measuring and evaluating progress; and providing robust financial support and challenge.

She is a Chartered Accountant and charity specialist, having trained in PwC’s Government & Public Sector Division, and has experience of conducting financial and non-financial audits for a range of charity and other public sector clients.  She worked for Macmillan Cancer Support for over 8 years in in Finance, Strategy and Performance roles and supported the organisation to produce a clearer medium-term strategy and improve the underpinning planning, budgeting and performance processes.

Genevieve is also a dedicated volunteer and fundraiser, providing financial and strategic support to a range of small charities and is passionate about maximising their impact.  She is currently a Trustee and Treasurer of the dance charity SLiDE (South London Inclusive Dance Experience) and a mentor for the Girls’ Network. Previously she worked very closely with Development Nepal, a small international development charity, both providing financial support and fundraising for them; this included helping to organise two large charity balls, completing a fundraising trek in Nepal and also dancing for 24 hours! 

Genevieve is passionate about the charity sector and looks forward to working with a range of new organisations, both big and small.  She is based in south London.
