Formerly Chief Communications Officer at Christian humanitarian agency World Vision, Kate was involved in the development of both national and global business strategies and directing global communications across 100 countries.

As Editor-in-Chief and Associate Publisher of PRWeek, the leading magazine for the communications industry, Kate gained unparalleled insight into the world’s most communicative organisations and developed industry standards. She also relaunched the magazine and developed digital products, overtaking main recruitment competitor The Guardian.

Kate has also written for a wide range of business publications including Management Today, The Business, Marketing, Business Life, as well as The Independent and The Observer and has been a regular commentator on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky news programmes.

Prior to a career in the media, Kate worked in communications in the NGO and private sector, for organisations such as UNICEF Australia, Amnesty International and advertising agency TWBA. She is also an authorized preacher in the Church of England.
