Charity management consultant, communicator, 25 years of Director-level experience
Norma Johnston
I feel privileged to work with campaigners, CEOs and charity trustees on causes that affect people’s lives, be that striving to end torture or preventing disease. I have worked on organisation-wide change management programmes through to developing communications strategies to raise awareness, and increase understanding, of small charities as well as household names.
In the UK, my work has been with universities, charities, and housing associations where I have endeavoured to bring maturity and sensitivity to my client relationships.
I think carefully about communications, whether I am devising a regional strategy or consistent messaging in time of crisis. I am experienced in making commu¬nications work hard for individuals and organisations.
I have been a trustee for a national charity working with people with vision impairment and have worked as the chair of an international humanitarian organisation in my local community.
