London Funders set up Covid-19 fund
A new fund coordinated by London Funders has been set up to support London’s civil society groups affected by covid-19.
At the time of writing, the fund stood at £3.2m, made up of contributions from the Mayor of London, the City Bridge Trust (City of London Corporation’s Charitable Funder), John Lyon’s Charity, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and the Julia and Hans Rausing Trust.
The fund is expected to grow as more funders come on board. Applications for civil society groups are expected to open imminently.
