Nationwide offers housing project grants in Northern Ireland

The Nationwide Building Society is awarding grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 to local housing projects that:

• Prevent people from losing their home
• Help people into a home
• Support people to thrive within the home environment

Interested parties can see the type of project the Nationwide funds through its Community Grants scheme here. Successful applicants will:

• Illustrate a clear link to Nationwide’s ambition for everyone to have a place fit to call home and demonstrate the positive impact on the local community
• Support people in housing need in original or creative ways.
• Have the potential to be used by others across the country
• Have robust plans to measure and report on the difference the grant will make
• Demonstrate sustainability beyond the life of the grant
• Display knowledge of local issues and have a network of local connections designed to strengthen local communities to support the most vulnerable
