A generic fundraiser – she has knowledge of a variety of fundraising streams including grants and trusts, events major donors and legacies - Carol was the Fundraising Manager for the Scout Association for three years, and their Major Gifts Manager for a further two years.

A Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Carol worked as the Parish Fundraising Manager for the Diocese of London until October 2021. Her role there was to provide Information, Advice and Guidance to parishes on all things fundraising: undertaking community audits, developing fundraising strategies, writing the case for support and helping them to run successful fundraising appeals.

Carol now works as a fundraising consultant and freelance fundraiser. She is also the third member of the Church Grants team, helping Churches and Christian Charities to better understand the fundraising process.

Her strengths include her understanding of working with Church of England parishes and PCC’s, fundraising committees and Trustees. Carol also delivers fundraising presentations and training courses.
