David has many year’s direct experience of working in non-profit organisations, managing staff, delivering training events, and writing reports, guides, briefings and booklets.

David now runs regular training courses for the voluntary sector on management and communication skills, data protection, health and safety and social media matters.
He also works with a range of individual charities, providing support on issues such as business planning, HR policies, data protection and organisational health.
David has contributed to a range of publications on HR issues, produced an e-booklet called “Avoiding Social Media Meltdowns” and has been published on the Clore Social Leaders Blog.
He is currently director of a social enterprise, and a trustee for a Leicestershire charity. He is based in Market Harborough.
