Trustees to help complete a transformation
If you care deeply about people who are homeless, displaced, lonely, isolated or otherwise marginalised, and if you have skills in the oversight of charity finance, service development, safeguarding, operations or infrastructure, then there could be a place for you on our Board of Trustees.
JCT is just completing a two-year Sustainability Plan that has transformed the organisation and its services, and is now rebranding as JCT – Joining Communities Together. Some long-standing trustees stood down earlier this year, and two more are standing down at the end of 2020, so we are very keen to bring two new people onto the Board as soon as possible, and a further 2-3 in early 2021. We have a great Chair and CEO and a newly formed Senior Leadership Team, and now wish to strengthen the Board, to support them in becoming the ‘new’ JCT, sustain the transformation, and help us solidify and grow.
Established in 2002, JCT is a charity with a Christian ethos, operating in London and the Midlands. Our Board meetings are currently held on Zoom and the Chair is happy this continues so we can attract talent from the widest geographical area. If and when we are able to meet physically again, we will be flexible to allow people to take part, wherever they are based.
Our Leadership Team is a diverse group in terms of age, ethnicity, gender and physical ability, including a person with lived experience of immigration issues. We would like our board to reflect this diversity, but importantly we seek people who can offer fresh-thinking and bring their talent to JCT.
