Children in Need Small Grants round open for spring 2020
Charities and not-for-profit organisations that work with disadvantaged youngsters can now ap-ply for grants of up to £10,000 per year for up to three years from the BBC Children in Need Small Grants programme.
The programme is intended to fund projects that address the following issues among children and young people of 18 years and under:
- Illness, distress, abuse or neglect
- Disability of any kind
- Behavioural or psychological difficulties
- Living in poverty or situations of deprivation
Projects must either work directly with children or in some way improve their social and physical environments.
This is the spring round of the programme, which has been running since March of this year. Funding decisions will be announced in March 2020.
