Fundraising Manager
About Us
The Marfan Trust is a small, niche medical charity and the only one of its kind in the UK, dedicated to improving and saving the lives of people affected by Marfan and Loeys-Dietz syndromes. We support patients and families through a personalised medical helpline, raise awareness and educate both the public and professionals through high-quality resources, webinars, and symposia, and fund cutting-edge research into improved treatments.
We are committed to championing equality, diversity, and inclusion across all aspects of employment and service delivery. We actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups, particularly individuals from ethnically diverse communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and people with disabilities.
Why Join Us?
This is a unique opportunity to join a small, ambitious charity where you will take ownership of a broad and varied portfolio of fundraising activity. In this hands-on role, you will have the autonomy to lead on delivery, bring forward new ideas, and see the direct result of your work.
You will gain experience across multiple areas of fundraising, from digital campaigns and content creation to donor relationships and sponsorship, making this an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their skills and grow quickly.
Working in a small team means your voice will be heard, your ideas will shape activity, and you will have the opportunity to develop into a more senior role over time. If you are proactive, creative, and motivated by making a real difference, this role offers the chance to accelerate your career while contributing to life-changing work.
