Anne Lythgoe is a strategic and creative thinker, influencer and social activist. She works as a freelance adviser on voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector issues, specialising in funding bids, project design and development as well as financial management, social impact reporting and stakeholder engagement. Previously Strategic Lead for VCFSE issues at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Anne is an expert in public sector policy, commissioning and partnerships, and public sector approaches to ‘social value’. She has extensive experience working in the public and VCFSE sectors and led the development and implementation of the historic VCFSE Accord Agreement between the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Greater Manchester Integrated Care and local GM VCFSE Leaders. She was previously the Operational Lead for a Manchester-based charity, overseeing funding bids, financial management and human resources.
Anne is also a Director of the Social Audit Network, a social enterprise that works in the UK and internationally to promote the practice of social accounting and audit. She delivers training workshops in social accounting and is responsible for the Network finances.
Voluntary roles include community gardening with the multi-award-winning Chipping in Bloom, providing lived experience insight as a Kidney Donor Buddy, and supporting her local Community Energy Group.
