Jeremy is an experienced charity manager and consultant with over 25 years of experience in the voluntary/faith sector. He has a vision to see churches, charities and individuals engage in the transformation of their local neighbourhoods through social action and community engagement. As part of his role as the Community Development Worker at a Berkshire Baptist Church, he developed many community initiatives, including one which has developed into an effective national charity.

He is currently also National Director of Linking Lives UK, which works with churches and Christian charities to establish befriending schemes aimed at socially isolated older people across the UK. The charity currently works with over 50 such projects ranging from Scotland to Guernsey.

Since 2012, he has successfully raised funds for a wide variety of (mostly Christian) charities and community projects while acting in a freelance fundraiser. These have focused on church building projects, drug & alcohol rehabilitation charities, mental health organisations and educational charities for young people. He obtained an NVQ3 in Advising voluntary & Community Groups on Funding Issues (CERTA) in 2014.

He is actively engaged in the life of a lively Baptist Church in Reading where he is a member of the worship team. He also enjoys playing golf and most outdoor activities in his spare time.
