Amanda is a fundraising consultant with experience working with trusts and foundations, major donors, community fundraising
Amanda Price
My fundraising career started in 1998 at the NSPCC, where I was a Community Appeals Manager. Since then I have worked for a wide variety of not-for-profit organisations – large and small charities, social enterprises and education providers. Prior to fundraising, I was a writer for family and children’s magazines.
Having become an independent fundraising consultant in 2013, I have worked with trusts and foundations, major donors, community fundraising as well as project managing capital appeals and volunteer recruitment. I provide support to CEOs, Directors and Heads of Fundraising to develop income by writing funding applications, prospect research, advising on fundraising strategy, board development and devising stewardship programmes that build on relationships with new and existing donors and re-engaging with lapsed supporters.
I have provided long-term consultation for many clients over the past eight years, including children’s health, faith, disability, educational, environmental, hospice, carer, hospital, veteran and homeless organisations. I am a full member of the Institute of Fundraising and keep up to date with charity legislation and fundraising trends.
